I have had dogs in my life for many years. 

 

While living overseas I volunteered with the RSPCA Qld, working in the vet surgery doing basic jobs like cleaning pens and kennels, exercising dogs and sharing loads of cuddles with sick animals.  I was introduced to dog grooming after the RSPCA rescued over 100 poodles from a puppy farm. The poor dogs had never seen a brush, let alone clippers in their lives.

 

I was able to watch and learn and then assist as Sue, a Master Groomer who volunteered her time, with others, groom these poodles and restore their dignity and eventually their faith in humans. 

 

I have learnt the art of Dog Grooming at a working Salon and training school in Cheltenham, with Gill Eastwood and her talented staff.  I followed this through with a City & Guilds Cert 3 in Dog Grooming. 

 

Dog First Aid training also completed.

 

 

A little about me.. I just love dogs - Simple !!
